Do you ever wonder what makes your child tick? Have you been baffled by his or her emotional responses to situations? How does your child express feelings or needs? How does your child know what to do or say in those moments when feelings loom large? Artists of the Heart is a unique class designed by Kristy Carlile to prepare and support the pre-kindergarten child. Using a variety of tools, including Second Step*, this class integrates social emotional development activities planned to strengthen creativity, motor development and academic skills in an empowering and meaningful way for children. These experiences will help your child build skills essential for entering kindergarten.

*Second Step is a curriculum developed by Committee for Children, which teaches children skills in the core areas of empathy, emotion management and social problem solving.
