Summer Creative Arts Register
Ages: 2 1/2 – 5
A playful exploration of creativity through a variety of experiences in music, drama, and art! Sessions include playtime and a snack. Parents provide snack for their own child.
Register for one, two, or three days per week.
Note: There will be no classes on Thursday, July 4th and Friday, July 5th.

Summer Palette Mini Day Camps Register
Roaring Mouse’s ever popular Summer Mini-Palette day camps are offered in the afternoons—Monday through Thursday from 1-4pm—in July and August. Be sure to sign up early! Spots fill quickly!

Explore It, Imagine It, Build It
- July 8 – 11

Explore the power of energy! Through investigation and experimentation we will discover volcanoes, catapults and motion. We will build motors and cars, and launch simple rockets, kits and planes. Campers will put it all together in their imaginations, come up with their own one-of-a-kind idea, plan it, draw it and build it.
Whimsies & Dioramas

Using fabric scraps, tiny boxes, bits of nature and other imaginative items, children will make their very own hand-sculpted figures called Whimsies. They will also build a miniature world of wonder where their Whimsies will live. Each camper needs to bring a shoe box to the first day of camp.
Nature Art

What can nature tell us about art? How can we learn to see and interpret the innate beauty of the world? With nature as our guide, students will explore using natural materials, design elements from nature, and their imagination to create unique and earth friendly masterpieces!
Scribe Tribe: Puppets

Using found objects, paper and natural materials, we will build puppets and write stories to create a magical performance of wonder and delight. Half hour show for parents at 3:30 on Thursday, August 1.

Dive into creativity with this fun and exhilarating camp for the artist who craves to explore, construct, invent and collaborate freely to make new and innovative works of art. Guaranteed to spark the imagination.
Costumes: Dress It Up!

Reams of fabric, paper, odds and ends, become the stuff that dreams are made of! Campers will have the opportunity to design and construct costumes. Half hour fashion show for parents at 3:30 on Thursday, August 15.
Artists of the Heart

A class designed for children entering Kindergarten in the fall. Kristy and Madeline will guide students in a creative exploration of friendship, feelings and communication through group art projects, cooperative games, individual and collaborative story writing, which will then be brought to life through dance drama and puppetry.
