Birthday Parties at RMCAS
Our birthday parties are usually two hours long and include an art project. I love the challenge of creating something unique to your child's favorite media and other interests in life: a favorite toy, story, activity or party theme. Some of the projects I have done in the past are tie-dying, paper marbling, metal embossing and glass painting.
The studio is set up with the project and maybe some other art materials, depending on the complexity of the agreed-upon project. Our toys and musical instruments are available during the party, allowing the children to explore the art project at their comfort level and speed. I find that most projects can be completed in an hour to an hour and a half, depending on age and interest.
The studio tables can then be set up for the party. You supply any food, drinks, paper plates, cups, utensils and a tablecloth, if you wish. The studio has a microwave oven and a dorm room sized refrigerator if needed. Please feel free to bring favorite CDs and cassettes to play during the party. I do the clean-up and you get to enjoy being with your child and the guests.
We charge $100.00 for eight children for two hours. Each additional child is $10.00 per child. I will confirm the number of guests expected a few days before the party and you will be responsible at that point for paying for the number of guests expected.
